Bookings...

  1. Acceptance of the booking is made upon cleared funds reaching the owners bank account.  A confirmation will be sent to you.  Cancellation charges (as stated on the website) may apply after this date if the customer cancels.
  2. Full payment is due eight weeks prior to the start of the holiday. For holidays booked less than eight weeks before the commencement of the holiday, the full rental is to be paid at time of booking. Where payment is not received at the appropriate time the booking may be treated as cancelled by the customer.
  3. Tenure is from 3pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure. Late departure is not permitted unless agreed in writing and may lead to additional charges.
  4. The customer agrees to keep the premises and all furniture, fittings and effects in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of the holiday and agrees to leave the premises in the same state as found. Failure to do so may lead to loss of security deposit.
  5. The number of persons using the property is not to exceed that stated on the booking form and only those persons stated on the booking form are eligible to stay at the property. Bookings will not be accepted from groups of single persons under the age of 25 or all male or all female parties without the Owner’s prior consent.  Failure to any of the conditions gives the Owner or his agent the right to require you to vacate the property at once without any compensation becoming payable to you.
  6. Any complaints should be taken up with the Owner as soon as reasonably practical.
  7. The Customer agrees not to let any member of his party or any guests climb the tree in the garden of the property.
  8. The Owners take no responsibility for loss or damage of any kind unless directly attributable to act or omission on their part.  For avoidance of doubt this does not exclude liability for death or personal injury.
  9. All descriptions of the property are for illustrative purposes only and any error or change will not affect this contract or allow cancellation save where this is a material change.  Lack of availability of a utility or service will not affect this contract unless it is of an item of material importance to the holiday such as cooker or shower.
  10. Cancellation charges will be as stated below

Every attempt will be made to rebook the property for the cancelled period. If a new booking is secured, a full 100% refund may be given

  1. Changes to bookings are accepted at the Owners discretion. Holiday dates may be changed as long as it is in the same year as the original booking and the owners are agreeable to the change.

 

  1. No pets or smoking.

 

  1. Any breakages must be paid for.  A refundable security deposit will be charged as part of the booking fee.

Payments can be made by cheque, postal order or cash. Unfortunately, at present we can’t accept credit card payments. Cheques to be made payable to Alison Lydon and posted to; 69 Postern Road, Tatenhill, Burton-on-Trent, Staffs, DE13 9SJ

Overseas booking. Overseas applicants may pay by Sterling cheque drawn on a UK bank, or please contact us for alternatives.
